About Me

Hi! My name is Cal (which you probably know by now) and I'm a Senior Musical Theater Major, aspiring actor, and musician! I love to create, and being born in Tennessee and living both there and in Oklahoma- there wasn't much else to do other than to create your own fun! I would make my own movies and edit them with my sister, and we would perform our own self-produced plays (improvised dramas and dance numbers) for my all-too-patient mother. When I moved to Oklahoma, I started out as a musician playing percussion, and it wasn't until much later that I found my love for theater, and more so performing. Music is definitely my first love, and I continue to write my own songs and teach myself new skills on the guitar, but acting quickly became my drive in high school. I truly was always doing a show and participating both on and off stage. With the help of my teachers, family, friends, and other loved ones, I was able to apply to college and got into Pace University. Going to specifically this school in New York City has changed my life. I've made so many friends and found family here that I know will be in my life forever, and through the training I've become a better person and a better artist. My dreams post-grad would be to work three jobs, keep making art, and to forever give back to the people who gave me all the opportunities I have today. I don't take any of it for granted.
